Born and raised in Louisiana, Stephanie Fiut is a creative writer, novelist, and blogger that incorporates a Southern flare into her work. At a young age, she would get lost in the fantastical worlds found in the novels she read, particularly drawn to dystopian societies. Inspired by those distant realms, she now creates her own futuristic worlds in her works of fiction. Her work usually falls under the darker, gritty side of fantasy.

 

Stephanie is currently working on her debut novel, “Into the Darkness,” the first in a trilogy that follows Hopeland Conner, a young woman who has her life drastically changed when thrown into a post-apocalyptic version of Earth controlled by the Four Horsemen.

 

With a desire to hone her craft, in 2015 Stephanie graduated with a BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University, where she focused her attention on more fully understanding the hero's journey and learning how to build the intricate worlds her remarkable characters inhabit. It is her sincere wish to create stories that reach deep into the souls of her readers, taking them on a journey of self-discovery that sets her writing apart from other novelists of her generation.

 

Stephanie currently resides in her home state of Louisiana with her daughter, Alessa, and her faithful companion, a black cat named Jack.
